High levels are known to contribute to the formation of crystals in the urinary tract. It is especially an issue in cats who also have more alkaline urine. This combination is a common cause of acute and chronic urinary tract issues such as urinary tract infections.

- Chicken Meal
is ground up chicken meat that has been carefully dried to a moisture level of 10%. The protein content is 65% and the fat level is 12%. Regular chicken contains about 70% water with 18% protein and 5% fat. To create chicken meal, ingredients are placed into large vats and cooked. This process not only separates fat and removes water to create a concentrated protein product, it also kills bacteria, viruses, parasites and other organisms

Harlow Blend is an easy transition. We recommend a 10 day transition. This gives your pet’s digestive system time to adjust.
